		<description>I would agree that Fixed Rate mortgages are often better than variable rate but I also think some people get stuck with how long the fixed rate period should be.

Interest rates (in the UK) are great for variable rate mortgages for a while longer and will be way lower than fixed rate.

I think it&#039;s as much about timing as anything.
